ShinewayTech debuts the latest product intelligent optical cable routing calibrator CRC-04 in ASEAN countries from December 9 to 13, 2024 and demonstrates POC testing among end users which including local telecoms and utilities. Faced with the limitations of traditional optical cable line maintenance, which can only measure the length of the fault point but cannot accurately locate it, resulting in high maintenance costs and time-consuming, CRC-04 comes into being to tackle customers pain points in field test. This high-precision comprehensive test instrument is integrated with DVS testing, conventional OTDR testing and VFL. It relies on distributed vibration sensing (DVS) technology to transform ordinary optical cables into sensing units, realizing real-time perception of optical cable changes. Combining OTDR functions with DVS technology, CRC-04 perfectly meets the high requirements of communication maintenance and support for precise positioning, accurate cable distribution and rapid repair.
